Island Recreation.

Accessible only by boat and chartered sea plane from nearby Ketchikan, Noyes Island is primarily dense rainforest, which serves as a remote gateway location nearest to the best fishing in Southeast Alaska. The island is inhabited only by guests, owners, and crew, providing scenic privacy amid pristine wilderness.

Guests may unwind in the sauna or may prefer to explore Noyes Island via kayaking in the bay, on a nature walk, or by taking in the view from one of the facilities' hot tubs. Other activities include year-round clamming, crabbing, shrimping, beach combing, paddle-boarding, and opportunities for some of Alaska's best recreational photography. All recreational activities listed on this page are included with your stay.

Crabbing and Shrimping

After receiving a lesson in setting crab and shrimp pots, guests can experience the excitement of returning to the water to haul in the day’s catch. Bring them in to the house chef, and watch as each piece is specially prepared for you, providing the epitome of "fresh seafood."
